Soundbite was born in a hurricaine of rain, pain and loss. Out came the insaine, tortured beauty that is the international sensation known locally as Soundbite. They make chunks of punky stuff to chew on and spit out. Jack H and Shane K with D buckle respectively tourturing green drums, four string bass and six string stratocaster. Touring the London slums and waking up the rich and poor next door with songs like "Action" "Never Gonna Let You Go" "Out Of Control"and "Pretty Girl". The short sharp spikes of sound peirce their audiences like pins in ya posterior. They have committed four five track EPs to CD to date. All funded and pressed with their hard earned. You should get to know them now or regret it forever.

I have been listening to the The Foo fighters. The new double album "In Your Honour" and also just picked up a cheap copy of the previous album "One by One". The Foos are just straight ahead no nonsense Rock!

I’ve currently got my ipod tuned into the new Kaiser Chiefs CD ‘Employment’. As the NME quoted, every song is a potential single. Other tunes fillings my head include Velvet Revolver’s Contraband, (turned up to 11) Coldplay’s X&Y, and I’ve gone back a few years and started listening to Radiohead’s OK Computer with renewed enthusiasm.
I’m not the biggest book worm around but I do like to read the odd biography, just finished ‘Tommyland’ by Tommy Lee (Motley Crue drummer). Eye opener to what being in a rock band in LA during the 80’s was like. Oh what a life, lucky git.
I’ve also just read John Peel by Mick Wall. If you’re in interested in music in any way then I think we all remember the day he died. Music really did lose an icon.
On the small screen, I recommend everyone watch ‘Extras’, Ricky Grevais’ sense of wit is spot on, very funny.
